Summary

Born into affluence, married to a playwright, Suzanne Spaak was an intimate and muse of Magritte and a close friend of Colette. A member of Parisian high society, she could have spent the Second World War living in relative comfort. But instead she became a leading player in the Paris underground, working with spies such as Léon Chertok and Leopold Trepper in her efforts to save the city's most vulnerable people: Jewish children.
