Maria Sklodowska-Curie byla fascynujaca osoba. Wielu uwazalo, ze jest zbyt powazna - a ona byla po prostu refleksyjna i bardzo skupiona - poczatkowo na nauce, potem na pracy naukowej. Many thought that it was too serious - and she was simply reflective and very focused - initially at science, then at scientific work. In her time in Poland, women could not study at the university, so she earned her own studies and went to Paris, to study at the Sorbonne. She did not care about clothes (she went to the wedding in a navy, very practical dress), cooked for her husband at a laboratory burner, and shortly after receiving the Nobel Prize, she started to ride with her daughter on the front of World War I, taking x-rays of the wounded soldiers - thus using her discovery in practice. She always had her own opinion and many unconventional ideas. She was inquisitive and hard-working. Original, extraordinary. Get to know her amazing life!
