The History Society's contribution was to commission a children's book on Sir Thomas' amazing life. Squaring the Circle: The Amazing Life of Sir Thomas Urquhart of Cromarty by local writer Jane Verburg and illustrator Tim Stead was published and 400 copies distributed to every P6/7 pupil in twelve Black Isle schools.
