The Strath Storypanel Triptych was made by 200 people of all ages with artists and storyteller Lizzie McDougall, in collaboration with the Highland branch of the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts & the Highland Museum of Childhood.Review: 'THE result of a dramatic new artwork combining storytelling with images created by more than 150 local people will be unveiled today at the Highland Museum of Childhood at Strathpeffer.The three panels of the “Strath Story Panel Triptych” depict classic local stories, some dating back thousands of years, including those of the giant Finn McCoul, the fulfilling of the prophecies of the Brahan Seer, the discovery of a hoard of gold, and the village’s spa.Black Isle artist Lizzie McDougall, who led a series of storytelling and art sessions which contributed to the project, said: “My hope is that this will ensure these stories are kept alive for years to come.' - The Press and Journal (Published: 22/11/2008)
